Our society is so incredibly realistic. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the recent recession, but I've had close friends disclose of their intent to go into finance lately. Many of which I have plenty of respect for, and chances are they will achieve success wherever they end up, but it doesn't keep me from thinking about their motivations and what our world has become.

The root of the problem is that everybody wants to live well. And finance seems like the safe exit for anybody whose willing to share a piece of their soul.

I say f it.
Maybe I'm just stubborn, maybe I have better things on my mind, but I'm willing to bet that hard-work and passion will pay off big in the long run. There are no substitutes for that.
